Thank you!
From start to finish, I aim to make your experience relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable. Before your session, we’ll stay in touch through text or Facebook Messenger to confirm details like location, timing, and any ideas you have.
When we begin, I like to ease into things by incorporating props if you’ve brought any. This helps you get comfortable in front of the camera while creating natural, engaging shots. I focus heavily on incorporating the surrounding landscape to give your photos depth and a beautiful setting.
As the session flows, we’ll move through a mix of guided poses, candid moments, and small detail shots to capture a variety of images. I’ll guide you the entire time so you never feel unsure of what to do.
After your session, I’ll confirm payment if it hasn’t already been completed to ensure everything is squared away. From there, I’ll begin the editing process, where I carefully select and enhance your best images. I use professional tools like Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to adjust lighting, color, and overall quality while keeping your photos looking natural and true to you.
During this time, I may send small updates or even a sneak peek so you can get excited about what’s to come! Once your gallery is complete, you’ll receive a personal link where you can easily view, download, and share your fully edited images.
I grew up in Denver, North Carolina, and attended East Lincoln High School, where I graduated early before continuing my education at Appalachian State University. During my time at App State, I developed a strong interest in visual and graphic communication, which ultimately shaped the direction of my creative career.
While pursuing my degree, I worked in local restaurants in Boone and gained hands-on experience as a social media manager, where I discovered my passion for content creation and visual storytelling. After graduating, I returned to the Lake Norman area to be closer to family and began working as a Graphic Artist at Carolina Photography.
Today, much of my work takes place around Huntersville and Charlotte, though I still find myself drawn back to Boone for its mountain scenery. I also spend time in Wilmington on weekends, continuing to expand my portfolio and capture a variety of landscapes and moments across North Carolina.
